Sending & Delivery
At Starstory Jewellery, every piece is individually handcrafted to order using your Star's inclusion. Because each keepsake is created especially for you, the process is a little different from ordering ready-made jewellery.
This page explains what to expect from the moment you place your order until your completed keepsake safely arrives home.
Current Creation Time
My current estimated creation time is approximately 3–5 weeks from the safe receipt of your Star's inclusion.
As every piece is individually handcrafted, this timeframe is an estimate rather than a guarantee. During periods of exceptionally high demand, Christmas, or advertised studio closures, creation times may be slightly longer. If this happens, any updated timescales will be communicated on the Starstory Jewellery website and social media channels.
Receiving Your Inclusion Kit
Once your order has been confirmed, your inclusion kit will usually be dispatched within 2–3 working days using Royal Mail 48.
Your kit contains everything you need to safely package and return your Star's inclusion, including:
- Clear step-by-step instructions
- A secure inclusion container
- A prepaid Royal Mail Tracked return label
- Packaging materials to help protect your inclusion during transit
Returning Your Inclusion
When you're ready, simply package your inclusion using the instructions provided and attach the enclosed prepaid Royal Mail Tracked return label.
For additional peace of mind, I recommend obtaining a free Proof of Postage receipt from your local Post Office and keeping it until I have confirmed the safe arrival of your inclusion.
As soon as your inclusion arrives safely, it will be carefully checked into the studio before work begins on creating your jewellery.
Creating Your Jewellery
Your jewellery is individually handcrafted using the inclusion you have entrusted to me.
Throughout the creation process, your inclusion is carefully identified using your unique order details to ensure it remains with your order at every stage.
Once your jewellery has been completed, any unused inclusion will be carefully packaged and returned to you with your finished keepsake.
Dispatching Your Jewellery
Your completed jewellery will be beautifully packaged and dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked.
You'll receive an email confirming dispatch together with your tracking information so you can follow your keepsake's journey home.
Delivery Locations
Starstory Jewellery currently ships within the United Kingdom only.
Unfortunately, I am unable to accept orders from the Republic of Ireland or other international destinations at this time.
Annual Leave & Studio Closures
Orders are still welcome during advertised periods of annual leave or studio closures.
However, there may be a temporary delay in:
- Dispatching inclusion kits
- Responding to emails and messages
- Creating and dispatching jewellery
Any planned closures and updated timescales will always be published in advance on the Starstory Jewellery website and social media channels.
