At Starstory Jewellery, every piece is individually handcrafted to order using your Star's memorial inclusion. Because every keepsake is created especially for you, the ordering process is a little different from purchasing ready-made jewellery.

Current Creation Time

My current estimated creation time is approximately 3–6 weeks from the safe receipt of your Star's memorial inclusion.

This timescale is an estimate and may vary during periods of high demand, seasonal holidays, or advertised studio closures. Any significant changes will always be communicated on the Starstory Jewellery website and social media channels.

Receiving Your Memorial Inclusion Kit

Following confirmation of your order, if you have purchased a inclusion kit, this will usually be dispatched within 2–3 working days using Royal Mail 48.

Your kit contains everything you need to safely package and return your Star's memorial inclusion, along with clear step-by-step instructions.

During advertised annual leave or studio closures, dispatch of memorial inclusion kits may take a little longer. Any temporary changes to dispatch times will be communicated in advance.

Returning Your Memorial Inclusion

Your memorial inclusion kit includes a prepaid Royal Mail Tracked 48 return label for the safe return of your Star's memorial inclusion.

Please follow the packaging instructions provided to help protect your memorial inclusion during transit.

For additional peace of mind, I recommend obtaining and keeping a free Proof of Postage receipt from your local Post Office until I have confirmed the safe arrival of your memorial inclusion.

Once your memorial inclusion arrives safely, I will carefully check it into the studio before beginning the creation process.

Dispatch of Your Completed Jewellery

Once your jewellery has been lovingly handcrafted and completed, it will be carefully packaged together with any unused memorial inclusions and dispatched using Royal Mail Special Delivery. 

Your tracking details will be sent to the email address provided when placing your order so you can follow your keepsake's journey home.

Delivery Area

Starstory Jewellery currently delivers within the United Kingdom only.

At this time, I am unable to accept orders from the Republic of Ireland or other international destinations.

Local Fife Collections and Delivery

For a local Fife collection and delivery, you can choose to independently package your loved ones inclusions yourself to save time and hand them to me or you can order an inclusion collection kit which will be sent to you within 2-3 working days after you have placed your order. 

Once you have filled your container, you will make contact with me and we arrange collection of your kit at a local Kirkcaldy venue. 

Once I have completed your jewellery order, I will again make contact with you to deliver your order at the same local Kirkcaldy venue. 

Annual Leave & Studio Closures

Orders may continue to be accepted during periods of annual leave or advertised studio closures.

During these times, there may be a temporary delay in dispatching memorial inclusion kits, responding to emails and messages, and completing jewellery orders. Updated timescales will always be published on the Starstory Jewellery website and social media channels before any planned closure.
