Your memorial or keepsake stone has been individually handcrafted using premium resin to preserve your Star's precious inclusion. With a little care, your jewellery will remain a beautiful keepsake for years to come.

To help protect your stone, I recommend:

• Removing your jewellery before manual tasks to help prevent knocks and scratches.
• Removing your jewellery before showering, swimming, or using a hot tub.
• Avoiding prolonged direct sunlight or sunbathing whilst wearing your jewellery.
• Keeping the resin away from harsh chemicals, cleaning products, perfumes, and alcohol-based hand sanitisers.
• Remembering that your resin stone is water-resistant, but not waterproof.
• Storing your jewellery safely when it is not being worn.
• Avoiding exposure to cigarette smoke, as this may contribute to yellowing of the resin over time.

Your Starstory jewellery is crafted from solid 925 sterling silver, a precious metal chosen for its beauty, quality, and durability. Like all sterling silver, it will naturally develop a soft patina over time. With occasional care, your jewellery will continue to look its best for many years.

To care for your sterling silver:

• Natural tarnishing is a normal characteristic of sterling silver.
• Gently polish your jewellery using the complimentary silver polishing cloth provided on subscription, taking care to avoid the resin stone.
• Store your jewellery in a dry place when not being worn.
• Avoid prolonged contact with moisture, perfumes, lotions, and household chemicals.
• Remove your jewellery before activities that may cause knocks or scratches.

Each piece is individually handcrafted with the utmost care, respect, and attention to detail. Because every stone is made by hand and contains unique inclusions that naturally vary in colour and texture, slight variations in appearance, finish, and placement are to be expected and form part of the individuality and beauty of your jewellery.

Every piece is carefully inspected before it leaves my studio. If, within 12 months of purchase, you have any concerns regarding the craftsmanship of your jewellery, please get in touch. I will always do my best to help.

This guarantee covers:

• Faults arising from the original making process
• Faults in materials used during creation
• Issues with settings, fittings, or components resulting from workmanship

This guarantee does not cover:

• Accidental damage
• General wear and tear
• Scratches, dents, or impact damage
• Damage caused by extreme or prolonged exposure to sunlight, chemicals, perfumes, cleaning products, hand sanitiser, swimming pools, hot tubs, or seawater
• Improper care, storage, or misuse
• Alterations or repairs carried out by another jeweller

Inclusions

To help protect your keepsake for years to come, I recommend keeping a small separate amount of your Star's inclusion in a safe place. While future work on your jewellery is rarely needed, retaining a reserve provides added peace of mind should it ever become necessary.
