Only a very small amount is required to create your jewellery. You will receive guidance within your inclusion collection kit.

Any unused ashes, hair, or fur will be carefully and respectfully returned to you with your completed piece within a beautiful keepsake pouch you can use to store your jewellery or to travel with.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive a complimentary inclusion collection kit within 2–3 working days via second class post to safely send your loved one’s inclusions.

Inside, you’ll find clear and gentle guidance on how to safely prepare and package your loved one’s inclusions. Your kit will be carefully labelled with their name and unique order number, ensuring everything is handled with the utmost care and attention.

A complimentary tracked Royal Mail returns label is also included—simply attach this to the outer packaging your kit was sent in and post through a royal mail letter box.

Yes, I can carefully combine ashes from more than one loved one into a single piece, creating a beautiful tribute.

You can note your preference in the comments section when placing your order, or get in touch shortly afterwards to confirm.

If you’re happy for the ashes to be combined before sending, they can be placed together in the collection pot provided. Alternatively, if you would prefer to keep them separate, additional labelled collection pots can be included in your kit—just let me know as soon as possible so everything can be prepared for you.

Hair and fur are naturally very fine, delicate materials, creating a soft and subtle appearance once preserved within resin. Hair, especially lighter hair colours — such as blonde, grey, or white — may appear translucent after setting, disappearing gently into the background rather than standing out prominently. Small settings and certain resin colours, such as dark colours, may not allow visibility. 

The dropdown menu for each design will show the availability as to whether your inclusion can be used within the design, be visible or be gently hidden into your chosen resin colour. If hidden, your inclusion will be blended within the lower levels of the resin, creating a beautiful, discreet keepsake to keep your Star close to your heart.

From the moment your order is placed, your loved one is assigned a unique order reference. Your inclusion collection kit is clearly labelled with their name and corresponding number, ensuring everything is carefully identified from the very beginning.

Once received, each order follows a meticulous check-in and storage process. Your inclusions, order details, and jewellery are always kept together and handled with the utmost care.

I do not mass produce. Each piece is created individually, with one order completed at a time, allowing for complete focus and attention throughout. Every stage is carefully checked and verified before your jewellery is prepared for dispatch, giving you complete peace of mind.

Only if selected by you when placing your order, a proof photograph can be provided for hidden inclusions and fair hair (such as blonde, grey or white), where the inclusion may be difficult to see within your finished jewellery. Please note that, due to the nature of fair hair, it cannot be guaranteed that it will be visible within the finished piece.

Your proof photograph is designed to provide reassurance that it is your Star's precious inclusions being used to create your keepsake. As I work on only one order at a time, your photograph will show your Starstory inclusion collection bag, inclusion pot and unique order number, confirming that your Star's inclusions are the only inclusions on my workbench and are being carefully handcrafted into your jewellery.
